Amaica is a Luhya word meaning traditional cooking area. At the restaurant birth the cooking was exclusively authentic Western Kenya but Amaica has since diversified its focus to incorporate authentic dishes from other regions in Kenya. Amaica decor creates an ambience that matches the traditional environment coupled with a contemporary look to supplement its urban setting.
