Olorgesailie

Olorgesailie site is a prehistoric factory for stone tools located 70km from Nairobi and surrounded by a 100,000 year old lake basin at the foot of the Great Rift Valley.
The abundance of tools provide empirical evidence that this site represents an actual campsite of early man.
The site is run and managed by the National Museums of Kenya, and visitors can picnic, camp or lodge in Bandas (Guest Houses). Guests can also take a Museum tour, go bird watching, and climb Mt. Olorgesailie. Click Here is a mobile friendly link.
